What were working on...

First thing's first, thank you all for viewing our blog, your frequent visits are what drive us to post more often.
Now to the nitty gritty: We have been doing alot of conceptual work recently. Concept art, different gameplay mechanics, future bosses, and the number of different mobs, characters and areas people will experience when playing our game. Although I cant promise much, I can give you some concept art in the next post and maybe some in-game footage.
 Now Good-day y'all.

Modelling Programs

ok so we got our first alpha out but one of the biggest issues was the quality of the models. the thing is that for all the models we have made none of them can be fitted with particles or cloth since we are using blender(a free modelling software) with unity (not very friendly to blender) so any textures, hair, cloth we  attach in blender cannot be used in unity. so we are faced with 3 choices:
1. Stay with blender and tough it out.
2. Move to a paid software like modo or maya.
3. Look for alternate freeware modellers like Daz studio.
and since we're low on cash and not many other modellers are both free and as good as blender we don't have a lot of room to manoeuvre.

First Alpha

We are pleased to say that our first alpha version will be played at Dar Al-Fikr Boys School in Jeddah Saudi Arabia two weeks from now for the anual exhibition. And hopefully will bring more people to the site and to the next alpha.

Progress report

Well things are going a bit slow since we've been trying to get animations from blender to unity, but hey at least we got moving arms on our latest version. Were also working out the combat system. Hopefully, we should have something playable by next week.

Welcome to the official SkullJack game Blog!

SkullJack is a 2.5D indie game being developed by four amateur game developers. Hopefully Skulljack will be released to the public before we die of sleep deprivation. Soon we hope to post the first screen shots and videos of our game.
